Married with Children..............
Any fans of the show here?
I've been a fan since it's inception in '87. Granted, you have to look past the somewhat impossible scenario of a shoe salesman paying a mortgage with a minimum wage job but then.......
Al Bundy's demeanor is perfect! The lines or should I say insults he recites, are "genius". They are exactly what he should say.
How about Marcy? All in all, she was my favorite character. She went toe to toe with Al and her retorts were also "genius"!
I know I am heaping praise on a truly dumb ass show but dammit, I need to laugh. Not much to smile about here......
What are your favorite characters or lines from the show?

I've recently watched a few episodes lately, haven't seen the show since it originally aired.
I love Peggy's family, quite a bunch of Wankers!
...and of course, I think of Christine Applegate and her recent public fight with breast cancer, wow, she's really grown up now to be a fine person.

Yeh, Ms Applegate is quite a lady! She's absolutely light years from her persona of Kelly, huh? Maybe that's why they call it acting! Hmmmmmmm

That show was a little before my time, but if I catch it while flipping through channels, of course I'll stop to watch it. My family never went as far as they did, but we would always take whatever openings we left each other and just go back and forth that way. So in a sense, the show reminds me of some of my happier times growing up.

She had a double masectomy, and is going to have implants...she's a strong woman for sure. Her outlook and attitude about the whole thing is just amazing.

THE classic episode has to be the one where Al and Peg go to the HOP ON INN.....and are video taped having sex. After they discover what happened, they sue the motel owner because their privacy was violated. Steve and Marcy also discover they too, were videotaped at an earlier tryst at that same motel so they too, join in on the Bundy lawsuit.
This was the episode which the Fox network declined to air back in the late '80's, thinking it was too racy and didn't air it until sometime in the late '90's.
