Kentucky Derby
I've never watched the Derby, but wish I had, like everyone else, wish I had bet....50 to 1 longshot? Wow.
I use to go to the Illinois race tracks a long time ago, do a little light betting, just for funsies...use to just pick a longshot and put a few bucks down, figured if I lose...no biggie, if I win..it'll be pretty good.
The race tracks were a pretty good time, a pretty nice way to spend a day with some friends.

I've always figured that if I'm going to throw money away on a horse, it might as well be a longshot. However, I would've bet my two dollars this last Saturday on the horse who had longer odds(53 to 1) than Mine That Bird did, and I would have lost.
