Re: Favorite weekly T.V. shows?
Dr.Who, there's the original that runs on PBS, a newer one that runs on the SciFi channel, and probably a few more version in between, (I do remember a mini-series type quite a few years back)
I'm into comedy...RENO911, it's vulgar and silly...
Smoking Gun's Worlds Dumbest...love the website, love the show.
Scrubs...totally silly, good soundtracks.

I love NCIS-- but House is my all time favorite. I can't wait until Burn Notice comes back though! He is hot, and sarcastic just like I like them.

Dr.Who I know, good series, new ones and the original one.
I quickly looked up the others you mentioned, medical dramas? The Prime Evil, had trouble finding that one, is it the one about the zoologist?

Re: Favorite weekly T.V. shows?
I refuse to miss 24, The Unit or Family Guy. I like CSI Miami and Two and A Half Men, but I'm not gonna lose sleep if I miss them. I never really understood all of the whole reality craze that's permeated the airwaves for the last 10 or 12 years, although I did watch The Apprentice for a bit. And I do like American Idol in the beginning of the season when all of those idiots (who apparently have never heard of a tape recorder) try out, make fools of themselves, get cut before they finish their song and then walk out crying and cussing the judges. It's like a car wreck, you don't want to see it, but you have to look.

Holy cow, I forgot to mention "24"!! I watch it religiously although I find it sorta "dated". Am I wrong in my thinking?

Re: Favorite weekly T.V. shows?
The only one that I absolutely love and am really going to miss,as it's final episode is later this month(maybe it already aired),is KING OF THE HILL.
I recently gave up on The Simpsons after being a loyal viewer since the Tracey Ullman days.
MadTV ended,so that's gone.
Come to think of it,once King of the Hill is gone, there won't be anything to watch on network TV.
As for cable,I like Mythbusters,Dirty Jobs,Reno 911.

Been catching when I can, "Krod Mandoon and The Flaming Sword Of Fire" on Comedy Central...I like it pretty good, last episode I watched had a character that was a Biclops...that would be a bi-sexual Cyclops...ah now that's funny.

Re: Favorite weekly T.V. shows?
There's another awesome show out there... and don't quote me on this, but I think it's called Ultimate Warriors. It's kind of like that show that used to come on Animal Planet... Except that they put different cultures up against each other instead of animals.... ie Apache vs. Gladiator. I knew the Apaches would win that one, and they did. It comes on either the DC or one of it's affiliates. Great show!

Thank you for the link Poke, I'll check it out this weekend...Reno 911 may not be real cops, but it sure reminds me of the local force in my area!
