Gone-ta-pott Day
Okay, looked this one up after reading the daily "National What DaY?" Thread...
*********************************
What does Gone-ta-pott mean anyway?
Gone-ta-pott or gone to pot is a "idiom."
If something has gone to pot, it has gone wrong and doesn't work any more. A day where nothing has gone right. A day full of ms-haps. A day where everything you tried to do ended up with no success. A day where one thing right after the other went ah-stray. A day when trying to meet a deadlines and everything got in the way. A day that should of been a day of success turned out to be a day turmoil.
Many times this idiom is pronounced Gone-ta-pott when a person is announcing how their day has gone. "My day has just gone-ta-pott!"
***************************************
So..has your day in any way Gone-ta-pott ?
Mine kinda has, first thing this morning I stepped on a wet sloppy hairball one of my precious furry angels left for me. Had a Dr. appointment today, a follow up about my headaches, felt fine while I was in his office then half way home...boom...the headache hit me.

Re: Gone-ta-pott Day
I worked last night but planned to get up early and get the flower beds weeded and some things planted. Instead ended up over sleeping. I started with a cup of foglifter coffee and WN, and didn't get much past that. I did clean out some old nail polish and make dinner. Nothing on the list got done. Maybe tomorrow....

Re: Gone-ta-pott Day
Got at work tonight and its quiet, tried to connect to the red room, but the system would not let me. Something about an outgoing TCP connection on port 8080. Stinks, nothing worse than being on yr job from 10pm to 6 am with not much to do and you can't have a bit of fun. Bet my boss disagrees.
