Social Networking Sites
Who uses them? Like Facebook, or MySpace? I use youtube to post videos of me playing songs. I just started a myspace page to promote my band. And I use facebook to keep in touch with family, in particular, my daughter who lives in Colorado. She never answers her damn phone, but she's always on facebook, so I can pretty much talk to her any time. What about you guys?
(I know, this may not be the most interesting of posts, but Chazzy wanted new thread topics and this was the best I could do! LOL!)

I like it just fine, got some family naggin' us about having an account to share and stay in touch, but I'm not so sure we'll get around to it any time soon, seems to be the trend though.
From my view point, it's nice to just click on a bookmark and see the newest photos of the kids and stuff...

We have facebook and myspace, but use them mostly to keep in touch with customers for the store. A few people I (wild) went to high school with are on facebook and I like some of the games on facebook that send money to various charities. Other than that, I think wn qualifies as a social networking site just as much as those. We probably have more friends here than on the other 2 sites combined.

I also have myspace and facebook. But I don't use them nearly as often as I do this site. I have more fun here anyway.

I do have a page on one of those sites,never really did anything with it....a school mate left me a "friend request"....and I sure don't remember him, but I'm too nice to just leave him hangin' there....maybe his name and face will ring that bell later...

I use Facebook all the time. As I am the unoffical organiser of the company monthly pub night I have lots of friends on there. Also useful for keeping in touch with the younger member of the family away at University or just moved away...
Of course the added advantage is that I can access it through the works firewall..lol

i had a Facebook account, but never really got into it, until after my 20th hs reunion back in October, one of my classmates invited me to join his network of friends, and now i have about 40 people that are friends. but that's different from this site, because on FB, personally know everyone of my friends. i have two of my sisters, one brother, two nephews, two nieces, and lots of classmates. and a few former and current co workers. i have reconnected with one of my closest hs pals, that i have not seen pretty much since graduation. he has never made any of the reunions. so it's great. i am almost on FB as much as i am here.

I just saw on TV that threatening the future of Twitter and Facebook is the new Google+. Supposedly, it incorporates all of the features of Google's home page, Facebook, Twitter and Skype. They claim that you can share as much information online pretty much the same as you can do in person. You can have friends in categories, rather than just in broad groups. And there are live video chat rooms like you can with Skype and you can have as many as 10 people participating. Theres also a function that you can push while watching a posed video and save it as a still photo. I guess I'm gonna check into it further. To be continued.......

we use face book and play them games too manly farmville and yo ville alot of them rob resources and freeze me up so don't do cafe no more
