Landline or Cell? PC or Laptop?
For me, I've simplified life. No house phone. At work, I used to have several phone line coming in. Ive since narrowed it down to just a fax line. Even my 800 number rings right to my cell. And no desktop computers either with all that wiring BS. Just my laptop with wireless internet connection and it goes with me everywhere. If I travel for business or for fun, I have everything I need to communicate with me. I have a compact laptop printer as well. I can work or play where ever or when ever I want to. And its also dramatically reduced my costs as well. I know this may not work as well for everyone, but for me, its a perfect fit. What about you?

I have an alarm system with monitoring so I'm forced to keep my landline phone just for that!!

Re: Landline or Cell? PC or Laptop?
1 PC that's too old to hook up to high speed internet
1 PC that is barely creeping along
1 landline, just for the fax machine (and the internet if we need the second computer)
cell phones for general use.

One prepaid cell phone for use during emergency or away from home use primarily, got a good package deal with the land line, cable TV and extremely fast internet.

Re: Landline or Cell? PC or Laptop?
We have the cell phones, one for each of us. No home phone, but do have DSL internet through a landline, just can't call out on the puter. I am thinking that I'll get rid of the DSL, and go to cable internet. It's much faster than DSL. Desk top computer, would like a laptop for travel though.

Re: Landline or Cell? PC or Laptop?
We just upgraded from dial up to dsl about 3 months. Compard to dial up, I think this is really fast. I've also noticed a major difference between mozilla and IE. IE seems to be really slow in comparision.
