I have seen the place to download but did not try it. I am taking some college classes and the college discourages against downloading version 8. They say there are some problems with it. Not sure what kind though.

I did beta testing of Windows 7 and it included IE8. It was really buggy. Might be better now that it's public?? I'm going to stick with Mozilla for general use. I ran Mozilla with W7 and it worked well. W7 looks great and works well but I'm thinking it going to be too $ for me. I've been slowly switching over to Linux anyway. None of the hackers, bugs and viruses of windows and it free!
