This day....so far
Started by a sleep stupor smack of the wrong alarm clock button and the hubs barely got out of the door in time for work this morning...
Enjoying some good coffee and quiet time, cuz the cats that played and raised hell all night are now exhausted and sleeping....
Checked out the local, national, and international new, enough to know whats going on, not enough to freak out or get completely bummed out and start finding a cave to move into...
Went to a few weird sites, been reading famous people's performance/concert contracts and all the stupid stuff they demand to have backstage and in their dressing rooms...weirdos!
What's your day been like so far?

Wow...ZZtopp's contract includes that all the leftovers from the backstage and dressing room go with them on the bus when they leave....I wonder if they bring their own tuperware?

I'll send you the link, it's the actual pages of their contracts and they even put red arrows on the points of interests...
it's one of those sites I'll end up reading way too much on today...
Marilyn Manson's contract, I think over half the pages are food and drink demands (includes slim fast diet drinks??)

I agree, a slow news day...I've turned to checking out some websites I don't visit very often for amusement,...looking at a cute animal photo site now...awwww kitten on a turntable, a wittle puppie in a coffee mug...okay enough of that...see what else I have bookmarked...

i worked at both jobs today, fried a whole flock of chickens, we had a coupon sale last week, 8pc fried chicken $4.99...that sale always sucks, and come to find out that next week, we get to do it again, this time for $5.99...UUUUGGGGHHHH!!!! (but it's the best chicken in town!!!)

funny you both mentioned ZZ and Aerosmith, they're planning a tour together this year!!! i LOVE ZZ Topp, but i am not a big Aerosmith fan...

Long frustrating day, tried to get the car emission tested - failed, tried to get the moe behind the counter to tell me what to do to fix the car - waste of time and oxygen, called ex- listened while he told me (in mechanic talk) what to do --- had to cut him off before I killed him, did get him to offer to fix it if I cook him a home cooked meal of enchiladas. got the lawn mowed, played wii with my son, washed 3 loads of laundry --- now time for bed.

I'm not quite sure if I'm still finishing up Saturday or starting Sunday... night shift... ugh...
Got the first batch of Dandelion wine started, walked the dog, washed 2 loads of laundry, worked my 8 and now I'm about ready for bed...

i just finished taking my shower, & sit on my deck with a towel wrapped around me drinking my coffee, the hot tub is lookin good, so might have to have a soak in the hot tub later

First pot of coffee is gone, yes...there will be a second pot.
Read some CNN...wanted to see what's up with the 21 horses collasping and dying and that polo match...it seems it was the pre-match vitamins....bummmer...sad...on to youtube for something more cheerful
Seth McFarland's "Beavers: Assholes of the Forest".....pretty funny short clip....Watched a clip of "Scrubs...Janitor's Wedding"....geez..Sweaty Teddy, the lawyer from that show was Susan Boyle cool before any of us even knew who Susan Boyle was, he did a beautiful song "Hey ya" with guitar. The man does have a smooth voice.
Hell, it's about time to go fix me up a huge breakfast, bacon, eggs, toast with blackberry jam and figure out what needs done for the day.

I worked last night so... I slept until almost 2, took the dog for a walk, started some seeds, straightened up the potting shed, and got a load of laundry started. Now I'm ready for a nap... If only there were more hours in a day...

Cool, a little rain, sia out on my big porch with my coffee, got the hanging pots and big window boxes planted up this weekend so it's really nice out there on the swing.
Spent my online time PMing with some of ya, nice talking to ya'all!! Posted a bit...visited a few of my stupid criminal websites, some good new funny mugshots today.
Right now, I'm checking out utube for E-trade baby commercials, I love E-trade baby, so funny!
In a bit, I'm gonna fix me a huge breakfast and savor it in front of the TV while watching a little bit of an old "Little House On The Prairie" rerun...hell, it's cheesy, don't really pay attention to the story line, I just like all the antiques props in it...Mrs. Oleson wears some of the most fantastic antique jewelry and brooches in that show.

Okay, I have laughed a whole lot so far this morning, watched a real squirrel attack on a stuffed toy squirrel video and just watched a cool video about what happens when you drop a magnet down a copper tube...whoa...pretty cool alright...

Still gray and rainy here, pretty high with the tree pollen so there's sudaphed with the coffee.
I applied for this internet job last week, passed the first test, so today I've going through some of the mandatory courses and training videos (boring,very boring but quizes will follow)
Awww, screw it....need to get out, gonna go out and browse the garden department for more bedding plants, the sun has gotta come out sooner or later...

I am playing a little game of freak the tweaks this morning, got the old big outdated webcam out, put it in my window looking out their way, she picked up on right away, she had to come pretty close to really see it...then she ran back I'm guessing to tell her ol' man, and by the time he came out, I had taken it down!!...oh what the hell, it was pretty darn funnt to watch and there's nuttin' on TV right now anyway...

So far today...
My first check from the new job came today. I went to their bank to cash it. A kid hit me in the parking lot while he was backing out of the space next to me. Then I went into the bank to find out that after the gov't gave them billions of dollars in bail out money, they find it necessary to charge a non-customer fee, even though the check is drawn on their bank. I left there and went to emergicare for a $32 tb test because the company that I used to work for messed up the reading date. They refused to correct it, said "it wasn't their problem". On technicality I had to have it redone at my expense.
I am going to finish my cup of chamomile tea and then I am going back to bed.
The new moon came in 2 minutes after the accident, I'm hoping that a nap will put things back in order...

This day has sucked from beginning to end. Overtired, having to have my son hate me for punishing him, behind on work, trying to get ready to go out of town and then yeah!!!! got test results that are so depressing I wish I could just go back to bed and cry. On top of that having to do it on my own - oh well enough whining - time to get ready for the night shift. At least I can make a difference there.

In the night shift, its busy and therefore fun. One more fun part is that i can go home in 3 hours, walk the dog and go to bed and when i wake up, the sun will be shining.

Not even 7am yet....so far....hubs woke me up out of a solid sleep at 4am insisting we get up and at it, lots of things to do today and of course, by the time the coffee was done and I was ready to roll, he had fallen back asleep and he's still sleeping three hours later...yep, I'm a bit annoyed with him right now but enjoying the quiet coffee morning time anyway.
So me and my coffee are browsing the cyber world, looking at a new-to-me site right now that features 84 bizarre and unique buildings, reading a story about the strange and recent Bulgarian Lottery, and now on to some stunning photo series of the Siberian-Yakutsk region's stone forest....

So far, I've had many phone calls. My father is 86 and I am his caregiver. He spent a week in the hospital and now in rehab. So, I left to get away for a few days.
Today, so far... 7:30 am, dad calls to tell me he is not going to his DR appt I set up. I didn't set one up. Then a call from the nurse, that he is not going, then another for me to talk to him, upon which, he again refused.
Then another, he is refusing to sign his paperwork. Then another, regarding a bill, another regarding Medicare B benefits. Another from his friend Chuck. Lastly, from his podiatrist.. the appt he told me he was not going to go to at 7:30 am this morning.
Heading to the beach now.......need to destress a bit... I think drinks are somewhere in my near future.
