Susan Boyle - WOW!
Scotland's newest singing sensation. This 47 year old woman has a voice like an angel! On the hit series 'Britain's got Talent' she wow'd the audience (unexpectedly) and the world with with her audition of "I Dreamed A Dream" from "Les Miserables" in front of Simon Cowell. With over 20 million hits on you tube... the world love's her. Tagged by everyone to most likely to be an underdog a comedic act and not very attractive but all that doesn't matter because she sings beautifully with a beautiful personality. She has the potential to look awesome with a little help. I think she will go all the way in the competition. I'm rooting for her.
Which just goes to show... You can't judge a book by it's cover. What do you think of her?

I've seen and heard her all over the news lately, she is fantastic! I sincerely hope this all brings her nothing but good things cuz not only does she have an amazing voice, it seems she just may be what they say she is....a wonderful and selfless good women.

Regardless of anything to do with the show, she's already made her mark on the world. I heard on the news this morning that she's already been asked to record an album (do this still call it that?) Any way, this woman is amazing!

If the producers of American Idol had done a make-over on Susan before her first appearance, she would have been under much more scrutiny than she is now. They were smart to kinda throw her out there with all her matronly attributes and all, just so her beautiful voice could shock every body's sensibilities. A brilliant decision, I'd say!!!

Also you have to remember that this is a talent show and not just singing... so it will be interesting to see how she is judged along with the other acts.
Are these acts only judged on or are they voted on by the general public?

I know the that on the American version of the show, the people get to call in and vote after the judges narrow down the field. I believe she should win it.

Although the dance troupe she lost to was very good, I was disapointed to hear she had lost. But I'm so sure she'll get much good out of the whole experience.
I also hear she is currently hospitalized from exhaustion?
I wish her well, she does have an amazing voice.

Hmmmmm, Exhaustion or tantrum? I read this news article, and... well...I couldn't help but chuckle. I think Susan Boyle is a good singer, but not great, and definitley not world class. I rooted for the dance troupe 'Diversity' to win it. They are dramatically different and a welcome change from the Opera singers who generally win Britains Got Talent.

Despite appearing calm on stage, as soon as the 48-year-old Scottish spinster arrived back in her dressing room she reportedly shouted: "I hate this fuc*ing show. I hate it!"
Miss Boyle was said to have burst out of her dressing room and run along the corridor with only her bra on her top half, yelling four-letter abuse at production staff. She also reportedly threw a cup of water over a floor manager and staff tried to restrain her.

We may think that she may benefit from this experience and if she does try to continue on with some sort of career do you really think that she will be able to cope with the real world based on her reaction to this whole ordeal??

I don't know much about the show, but it's a competition and some just not suited for that kind of thing, maybe if Susan sticks with just recording in studios and avoids the whole public fame and it's pitfalls she may find a happier medium?
(Dammit VB!!! Lay off that "quote" button!!!! We don't need to read everything twice!!!  )
