The dandelion's are blooming!
It's time to start picking dandelion's to make my wine (thanks Chazzy for the recipe, it's great!)
Does anyone have a favorite wine recipe they'd like to share?

Re: The dandelion's are blooming!
I bought 3 books on wine making this past winter. There is also a mead that sounds really good too! I'd love to have recipes that other people have used and know they're good rather then just the recipes in the books. I really enjoyed that dandelion wine recipe you gave us a few years ago. I've made it every year since!

Re: The dandelion's are blooming!
Ive wanted to make my own wine for quite a while now. Any tips on what I should do to get started? My preference is along the lines of a Cabernet.

Re: The dandelion's are blooming!
u can buy a wine buying kit on QVC. The biggest thing ppl do to mess their wine up is they are always opening it up & see how its doing... LEAVE IT ALONE... its doing just fine, that & filter it, & make sure u wash the bottles good.

Re: The dandelion's are blooming!
I found one bottle of Dandelion wine that I had forgotten about a month or so ago. It had been sitting for almost 2 years. It was really, really good. I'd say, be very patient and let it sit. I've since decided that what I make this year, I won't open until I start the new batches next year. It seems like a long time, but it is well worth the wait!
