Yard work
It is time to start getting the yard work done. Cleaning out the flower beds and getting the raking done. How big is your yard and how much do you have to do?
Anyone want to do the raking in my yard?

Re: Yard work
Huge yard, but I've got at least 10 days -2 weeks before the weather will allow me to do much work, gonna have to cover a few things up to protect from a chance of frost for tonight, mostly just sloppy rain.
Still got my front porch plants wintering in the basement, and haven't bothered to shop for the annual bedding plants yet, just a bit too early yet.

Re: Yard work
We have 3/4 of an acre, most of the yard is mulched and we let the leaves blow into the neighbors yards The few leaves that are left go into compost, so that's not to bad. Most of the clean up is done now. We did it during the warm days in February and March. Now we're just waiting to go to the garden center next weekend...

Re: Yard work
Mowed mine last week.
I leave it longer the last time mowing it fall so i can use the longer grass to get rid of the dirt that accumulates on it.
What's a rake?

I enjoy burning off waterways and patches of prairie. I'm a pyro.
