Hints for a newbie....
hi all,
new around here and new to this type of site, though it looks very promising. sent a few messages and received nothing in return...so far.
Got any insights for me?

Well, you seem to express yourself pretty well in your profile...
I can only speak for myself, but...messages that contain only the bare minimum of "U wanna chat?" or... "U R hot, my yahoo is blahblah"....I don't usually reply to, sorry, but I'll read and delete, if I had more time, I would at least answer back with a "No thank you" but men outnumber women on adult sites, and sometimes women can be so overwhelmed by the number of messages, that it takes a pretty good one to get a reply, and if we have been offline for a bit, there are way too many to even deal with sometimes, and we have no choice but to delete it all and start fresh.
That's how it is for me, for some women....it's all in the moment, if they are online looking and you happen to fit what they are looking for...then you could be in luck...

yes - that is a great art. how to write a message that penetrates the masses and stands out. i guess that in this economical crisis many People face the same dilemma with their job CV that is just one among the flood of other CVs with the same purpose of getting one job...
what original intro have you seen?

Actually, most of the conversations I engage in start right here in General Discussions, there's always the wide variety of stuff to talk about, a good place to have the morning coffee, often talking here leads to talking by Private message.

I've been helping out with this site for a very long time now, I joined in 2003, made my first post in the forums in Jan. of 2004, and if you look at the forum index, you'll see I'm listed there with some others as a moderator.
My time online is gonna be kinda limited this afternoon, got a ton of chores to finish up around the house, but that's what I like about private messaging, I can read and reply when it's convenient and I have the time (I'm not into live chat , chatting and all that, never have been)
