Flooding
Fargo,ND and that area once again are under threat of floding from the Red River. It's predicted that the river will crest at 43 feet. That's about 6 feet above the 37 feet in 1997.
Ya'd think by now they would have found a way to make the liquid snow get back to Canada more efficiently.
I hope all those in that area and those in the areas having flooding, blizzards, tornados and other weather related things stay safe.

Re: Flooding
just saw on the news that last time it flooded, the cities of Fargo and Moorhead requested some sort of assistance in flood prevention...and the governments (both state and federal) waited until 2 years ago to even start thinking about doing something...

I was wonderin about the Dells. Of course, I hadn't heard anything since Lake Delton drained.
If the Red River was freed of the ice clogging it as they did in Bismark, there wouldn't be a problem.

For those who don't have flood insurance......this is a call to arms. For those who do not heed the warnings.....maybe you should consider an alternate place to reside!

From what I've seen on the news here. Many are relocating. Hopfully they'll find someplace warmer as well.

Re: Flooding
The river level has dropped but there are warnings that it could reach that 43' level in about a month again.
