"MAJOR SNOW STORM HITS THE EAST COAST!!!"
now, don't get me wrong here, i know that some of areas got nailed pretty good with blast of snow...(better you than me...  ), but when i see the Weather Channel scrolling a "MAJOR SNOW STORM" across t he screen, and then they give the total snow falls, i thought i was pretty damn funny to read that Concord, New Hampsihre had a whopping 2.5" of snowfall...

Awwww dammit! I know some of ya think I'm just nuts....but I miss having those hard winters, a foot or more of snow, that biting but refreshing cold snap in the air...the last couple of winters have been just too mild for me...

We've had the biting cold, but not the good snow falls. I think the most we've had at one time, is around 6". I do miss those bigger snow falls of a foot or more.

I have a teacher friend in VA whose work was cancelled two days in a row. I told her "I saw you guys on the local news. They weren't making fun of you...really." 
Where I am, we've had lots of snow. Maybe I just think that because the snow blower isn't working this year.

we just got about an inch of snow, and some rain..not too slippery of a drive home last night, but the wind was a blowing something fierce...a few times i couldn't see five feet in front of me...but i made it home safe.
ol' man winter can kiss my ass..and go take his summer hibernation nap....SOON!
