Well I'm off to the Caribbean. Are there any members that live in Jamaica, Grand Cayman or Cozumel?

I'll be thinking of you all... well not really. I'll have to think about what kind of high calorie meal I'm going to have next on the ship. I'll probably come back 10 lbs overweight.

Okay, Okay, Okay!! I'm talking... lol
I've been hooked on cruising for a few years now and this cruise was awesome. Aboard the brand new (Nov 2008) Ruby Princess on it's inaugural season. A totally awesome ship. She takes just over 3000 passengers, 13 restaurants, 4 pools, 17 decks and Movies Under the Stars...a 300 sq. ft. screen with a 69,000 watt sound system outside above the pool. We left Port Everglades Ft. Lauderdale heading for the western Caribbean and our first port of call, Montego Bay Jamaica. We took a shore excursion to Ocho Rios to climb the Dunn's River Falls... an amazing experience. We then headed to George Town in Grand Cayman and went on an excursion to snorkel with the sting rays, turtle farm and then to HELL (a town by that name)... and then off to Cozumel Mexico to do some shopping. Our last port of call was to Princess Cays (their own private island). There were 2 formal nights on the days at sea. The food was as always out of this world... came back 4 pounds heavier. All in all it was an awesome trip. Can't wait till the next one. Cruising is great... everybody should try it. You can get some pretty good deals now.
