So what are you going to do with your $15/wk stimulus money?
Well I'm one of the few Americans that is anxiously awaiting my check that will come as a benefit of the new stimulus law signed on Tuesday.
I know we as citizens have to feel confident in their job situation so they'll feel like purchasing a new car or taking a second mortgage and investing in their home, maybe adding that new kitchen or pool thus employing local labor and buying lumber or materials at an area supplier thus keeping the money in your local area. Everybody benefits.
As for my $15/wk, I will be putting it toward purchasing a newer used car. That way, the money will stay in my community. How will you be "investing" your windfall??

Ironically....we'll be putting it all(plus some more) in a savings account so we will be able to pay our April 15th taxes....

$15.00 a week!!, be grateful for small mercies, we get nothing!!!. As for spending locally, went to our local market on Wednesday and spoke to a stallholder who was peruvian!!!, thats not what I call local....still, he has to make his money where he can I suppose.

i see it this way, it's $60 a month more than i had before, that's 2 months worth of car insurance, or enough to feed a hungry family at least three decent home cooked meals (if you are a smart shopper), or maybe an extra couple of fills at the gas pump. with as many jobs getting cut around her, every little bit helps. hey VB? if you don't think it's that much, why not send your share my way? even $15/wk helps us less fortunate ones. i'm busting my ass at two jobs, and i can barely make it from paycheck to paycheck, (it's my own fault), but any extra money thrown my way will be greatly appreciated. even $5 a week helps.

I used to say next year I will have more money and I will by me a nice fishing radio and every year when fishing season rolls around after investing in line and tackle etc... the budget would only allow another cheapo radio ,well I got me a nice radio with my first stimulus check a nice shortwave little jobber, that radio is the JDs I can pick up the UNH football games when I am 100 miles from the nearest station carrying the game ,with a little finetuning of course ,I would like to set up a down payment on an old big block stingray fund but I worry the neighborhood I live in if you get somthin that sweet dont be surprised to see your tires cut or someone complaining bout somthin ,thinkin you have money to burn and trying to put a hurtin on you ,probably just save it to have money at hand so maybe next time I wont have to sign off on an euthanasia slip for my old cat and given the old girl a fighting chance .chazzy

Stall holder.....I assume means the same thing as boothholder here(US)....a person who sets up their own stall or booth at an open market to sell their produce and wares.

when you say stallholder I think like at a racetrack or horse barn when I read the word peruvian the first thing that pops into my head is peruvian marching powder but I degress I too dont quite get the post ,maybe its code speak

My stimulus money will be spent on the same thing all my money goes too...obligations. Any extra money is always welcome. That $60 a month in my house will be added to the grocery bill for some growing short people!

Our beloved Govna' wants to take 13$ of that from all Massachusetts folks as part of his debacle budget plan. He claims that it's only going to go to waste in our pocket...He also claims that it's the price of a large cup of coffee a week. Where the hell does he buy coffee?! Super-Starbucks?...

Are you talking about the little guy (Duvall) who wants to be a full grown man with a man's voice, when he grows up?
How about the 19 cents per gallon tax on gasoline he wants to add to help pay for the state social services?
