Flowers, candy and cards
How many of ya'all think....
1) Valentines Day is just a commercialized holiday created and promoted by those who can profit from it.
Or....
2) Any chance to show the one you love how much you love them, and think of it as a celebration of love.
So....which is closer to your personal feelings on Valentine's Day, #1 or #2?

Number 1, without shadow of a doubt.
The history of St. Valentine is romantic, but over the years it has turned into a big fat commercialised rip-off.
Remember that old saying, 'to love another, one has to love oneself'? Wouldn't it be nicer then to offer a little bit of love in an unexpected direction this year and send a card to ourselves?

valentines day is basically a woman's holiday, men don't care if we get a card or chocolates, i think we shud declare March 26th a national holiday, for men, "National Steak & Blowjob Day" lmao

If I remember right, there's three references to St.Valentine's existence. The first was that he lead a large army into a small village where he massacred the townspeople. The second was that he sheltered some of these folks as they fled the country. The third, was based that it wasn't a person at all. St.Valentine's was actually a church in that small village where the bodies were stacked. Each year following, the townsfolk would give each other heart-shaped items to remind themselves of the holocaust they endured. So where's the romance in again?...
