i think you are right. what she does on HER time is her own business, however, in this day and age, i guess nothing is private any more. i'm sure these parents that are complaining have had their fair share of the adult beverages on special occasions...so she had a beer, big deal. she's of legal age, isn't she?

When my oldest daughter got married 2 years ago, I had written and recorded a song for the Father Daughter Dance. I recently posted it on my youtube page and emailed a link for it to her, as she lives about 2000 miles away. She's a 5th grade teacher and watched the vid in her classroom. A couple of the kids asked what she was looking at and she showed the kids. They thought it was cool and asked for the link so that they could show their Moms and Dads. Innocent enough, right?
Well, anyway, also on my youtube site are vids from New Years Eve from where I was playing with my band, and of course my kids were there including my oldest who was home for the Holidays. Well, the one vid shows her dancing with her sister and at the end of the song, it shows her taking a SIP of beer.
I'm sure by now, you guys have guessed where this is going. The kids took the site home for the wedding, showed the parents, the parents looked at other videos and complained to the school that she was showing their kids videos of her at a bar drinking. Now bear in mind, she didn't show that vid, in fact she didn't even know she was on there. And the truth of the matter is that she was 2000 miles from the school, with her family, on New Years Eve having literally a sip of beer. Can you believe that crap? Or am I making too big a deal out of it because it was my kid? I'm interested to know what you all think.
