Good thing I hesitated.........
About 2 weeks ago, I got a reply to my ad which offers my oral services to needy women. This particular call was from a 30 something female who indicated that my oral services were indeed in dire need.
I was also informed that my presence was requested as part of a swingers club weekly get-together. I indicate in my ads that I only want one-on-one meet and eats. As she went on to explain, she and I would be alone in a motel room to do our thing while her husband would only watch or maybe he could hook up with another woman or women in the group. I wasn't at all interested in him being in the room with us but the possibility of the second option was something that got my interest. I gave her the impression that I wasn't all that keen on being with a bunch of people I didn't know but maybe I could be persuaded.
She said she'd call me back later this week after she discussed bringing me into the swingers group with the other members. I told her I would have to think about it.
Well just this past weekend, that same swingers group was busted at a local hotel on the charge of promoting prostitution. Quite a few members were paraded in front of television cameras for everybody to see. I heard her name mentioned and I thought "man that was close"! My second thought was " WTF are the local police bothering those people for"? They're of age. There's no money being exchanged for sexual favors. Why don't the authorities go after real criminals?
I think the next time I hear the word swinger mentioned, I'll run the other way!
Your opinions please........

Well the couple I talked to over the phone seemed like decent people, not out to get anybody in trouble but I wasn't really looking for a couple or a group thing so I just got lucky, that's all.
A gentleman that I work with, told me he knows one of the couples that was arrested in that police sting operation. He claims they are just a nice married couple that wanted to have some fun within a controlled situation. They have two school-age children. What a freakin' mess they're in, huh?

Re: Good thing I hesitated.........
Big bummer for those two school aged children, their parents should have practiced better discretion and judgement if they wanted to indulge themselves.
I mean, what are we talking about here? Graiglists, swingers clubs, hotels....I think if ya worry about consequences, then ya gotta use better judgement.
Good to know you're unscathed from your close encounter.

I don't expect that couple to ever call me again. Still I don't see why the authorities chose to make a big deal about married adults having some fun.

Re: Good thing I hesitated.........
I'm not against swinger's clubs and all that, I often help other people here research for them....but....that's the point, they want to be careful and find the right club...maybe this particular club wasn't just a swinger's club, but one of those shady ones?
I think, (jump in and correct me swingers ) I think maybe the better clubs have their own building, follow business, building and fire codes, work within the law...and have their own sometimes very strict house rules to keep their members safe, out of jail and their privacy protected.
There's usally a membership fee, referrals for new members...pretty slick operations really.

wasnt it einstein who coined the phrase he who hesitates is lost but has nt it also been said you better look before you leap and if you do what you always do and you will get what you always get ,as well as sometimes the beast deals you make are the ones you dont make ,all I can say is the grace of god my friend .let me tell you a little story bout a woman I met off the site ,she lived a short travel away ,only availabe weds eve between 6-8 pm ,running around on her girlfriend ,well the first two times she called off our rendezvous that we had set up for a week 15 minutes before, twice this happened and the third time she finally held serve ,I got to her door ,the door opened to a 300+ lb not at all attractive woman with humongous fat rolls ,my weiner did a 360 spun around and shot right up my butt crack(little larry the cable guy quote( and the moral of our story next time you order pizza dont forget to say ? your a new englander fill in the blank .

I have to think that if those swingers were charged with "promoting prostitution" some offer of money for sex must have been made or solicited. Most states still have laws on the books against various "morals" offenses(adultery, fornication, "lewd" behavior, etc.) but no one is ever prosecuted for them. Which is why I susupect there may have been some money(or promise of it) involved somewhere with your swingers .

I found out just today that the manager of that hotel was charging $40/couple for the get-togethers so yeh, I can see the "promoting prostitution" angle.
I'm figuring after almost 4 years, someone in the group got jealous of someone else and tipped off the authorities as to the goings on.

Chazzy, you're right. I've been to one or two or (never mind), anyway, they had their own building.

Had an experience a while back where my ex took me to one of these places without telling me what it was. I didn't last long and the cab fare was worth my departure once I figured it all out. I excused myself to go to the bathroom and he didn't know for about 20 minutes I was gone, the taxi was dropping me in front of the driveway right as he called.

Re: Good thing I hesitated.........
The better, safer clubs usually have websites where they tell you exactly what to expect when you join and show up, they'll lay out "swinger's etiquette" so you know how to not piss everyone off right off the bat, and other miscellaneous Do's and Don'ts.
Everything you need to know
