Wow, that water landing!!
I'm sure everyone has heard about the plane that was forced to land on the Hudson River yesterday. That was something, huh? 
I'm thinkin' that pilot will be elevated as the expert on landing a 767 on water and surviving it. If that plane had rolled even 12 inches and hit the water not on a level plane, there wouldn't be anything good to report this morning.
How long do you think it'll be before PETA files a lawsuit on behalf of the birds that died being sucked into those two engines? I can just hear their whining now!!

I don't see how a flock of birds can bring down an airplane. In Die Hard 2 the arch-baddy gets put through the engine and it still works fine!

I don't see how a bird or flock of birds can bring down a plane either but apparently did! The engines are supposed to be able to absorb a bird weighing up to 4 lbs but the birds in question were bigger than that.

This use to be a faily comon occurance. Especially from something as large as a Canadian Goose.
I'm most impressed with the pilot. Good thing he has those 40 years experience.
