Compliments on pics
From time to time I'll see a photo posted by a lady here on WN that just knocks my eye out, and I'll be moved to send a message complimenting her. Very often, usually, in fact, said lady is quite remote from me geographically, or has indicated in her profile that she is not interested in someone like me, and I send compliments soley as a tribute to beauty. Some dont respond, some respond and seem pleased to recieve a compliment, and some responses seem a bit ambivalent. How do you WN forum-cruisers feel about unsolicited compliments on your pics? Are they just a waste of inbox space?

I know what youre talking about. I firmly believe in giving credit where credit is due. I do what you do, send a compliment, or if I see them in a room, I'll message them and pay the compliment. They always act like I'm some kinda freak thats hitting on them when all Im doing is paying a simple compliment. And not everyone is that way, but it happens more often than not.

I always respond by saying thank you to anyone who compliments my pictures, i think its very kind of anyone to take the time to do that.

I figure since its the only face I have why not share it--lol--some people need a good laugh to start off their day and if I can make someone smile --why not ---thats a goood way to start a day off--since smiles are contageous and no one else knows why you are doing it.
