A Little Help Here...
My mom was telling me about a child that goes to her church. Her parents are down on their luck this year, like the rest of the country, and Christmas looks pretty bleak for her this year. I was wondering, what in the world would a seven-year-old girl want for Christmas? Any ideas?...

My guess would be something to do with Hanna Montana or The Jonas Brothers. I hope that gives ya some ideas.

Re: A Little Help Here...
With the recession closing in on most of us and adding the holidays, anything a child recieves will be special, especially one's love and kindness warming a child's heart with spirit and love.

Re: A Little Help Here...
When I choose items for the toys-for-tots, I try to also buy a few family board games, anything from Monoply to Candyland...anything a family can sit down together and enjoy the game and each other's company.
And yep, totally agree with the rest as far as the High School Musical, Hannah Montana stuff. Barbie, always has been always will be a classic choice too.

Re: A Little Help Here...
Just wanted to let you know, that after taking all of your wonderful ideas, I ended up purchasing three gifts for her. The first was a "Hanna Montana" pen set with paper and stickers and other stuff. A, "Tinkerbell" 3-D magic marker set, supposedly they puff up when they come in contact with paper and projects, and finally the action game, "Sorry". One of the best and simplest family games ever invented. Thanks all for the ideas, I'm sure she'll enjoy the lot...
