im depressed
would a foot on snow coming down right now be enough to depress ya? just thinking of the chore in the morning

Without winter, we woudn't appreciate the springtime in the euphoric way we do.

We had an inch or so on Sunday morning. I love the first snow of the season. Gets me in the Christmas mood!!

don't mind the snow or shoveling it. Do love watching it fall while inside next to the fire while drinking a warm drink. Shot of amaretto of course and someone warm and nice beside me also. But cheer Up Ash and be thankful you don't live in Greenland where it's all year long, eh.

First snow here was November 30, more has fallen since. We've had several nights when the temp dropped to around 0 degrees F.- could make for a long winter. Today, though, temps are above freezing, and its raining, but temps expected to fall-freezing rain. I hope we get a thaw before Christmas.

Ahhh talkin' my language! Taking a walk in the cold clear night while the snow falls, wisping smoke from the chimney, coming home to a fire and a warm drink.

The thing is Poco, you and I still don't have snow yet here in the lower mainland, compared to some of our neighbors to the south and when we do we usually don't get much to stick around. Keep it in the mountains is all I have to say.

I'm with jugs! An empty parking lot to do "donuts" in, snowball fights and all that stuff, can't stop it...gonna enjoy it.

oh i just love driving in the city on the grease ... we lucked out and only had 6 inches on the ground this morning. but i still got woke up by the plow going by at 5:30 am ....tis the season.....

Sad but true Stevanos. But one can always hope we get the white stuff on christmas. That'll be a change. Still even if it doesn't snow. I like the idea of a warm fire with someone by my side eh...

well in Wisconsin ya ca try "the Wisconsin dells" ...it off season but they do have a few indoor water parks, farther north is Warsaw if ya ski they have "granite peaks"
i wouldn't put boards on my feet and go down and even father up "39" is minocqua and woodruff area im sure ya can ski and snowshoe rent a sled or ice fish ......o the winter fun we have about 6 uinches of snow but it been raining all day
