how many of us still have a good ole fashion.........
water bed? we mover ours and it took 3 days to heat back up after we brought it back down stairs,and it up over 80 now, should be ready to sleep on and i got a chill from being out side in the cold and wind and snow....

Use to have one, way back...not sure I could adjust to one now...like my tall stack, pillow top mattress, been thinking about adding a feather bed (mattress) to the top of our bed, I just LOVE a feather bed! I know, not as warm as a heated water bed, but the hubs usually insists on a electric blanket in the winter.

my best friends parents had one, and they also had a great dane...that liked to jump on the bed....not a good combo...i can't tell ya how many patch jobs they did, before they got rid of the bed...

yepper, we have two pillow tops too and the puddy cat's favorite place to sleep, she knows its warm and comfy the cat and the wife likes it just fine,but for me it too warm.....we been thinking on a electric blanket for the pillow top though,need a king size one

i learned a long time ago, you gotta be gentle climbin' in and out of those things... i was watching my two year old nephew, who was lying on his mom and dad's water bed....i plopped my big ol' butt down  ...damn near shot the little guy through the roof!!!

that happens , getting out is a good time too i have to roll on the padded side rail and sit up other wise, your just sloshing aroud ...lol

Under the category of stupid things you did when you were young, me and a friend of mine would sit on the edge and let our legs hang over until they'd fall asleep.... then try to walk. I wouldn't suggest trying it...

Hmm, I loved waterbeds. An ex b/f had one. It was fun riding the waves.
But it was cold at night without the extra blankets. He didn't have a heater in his. This was back in the 80s.

well ya just got to have a heater of some kind or put a norther blanket on top the comforter under the sheets
