One holiday at a time please...
I don't like it, I don't like isles of Christmas stuff before Halloween, and I don't like piped Christmas carols before Thanksgiving, I realize that Christmas is the big ticket holiday for merchants, but holidays still have a bigger meaning for me...just one holiday at a time, please.

I hate when stores do this. I like to spend time celebrating one holiday and feeling its true meaning before I go rushing off to another.

we ring the bell on that one trying to buy candies and their already jamming Christmas in the isles and its not even Halloween yet ...... what would happen if we boycott Christmas this year

Just had this conversation with the shortest person in my house. He said, "Momma, we need to decorate for Christmas." I told him Thanksgiving came first and we needed to celebrate that holiday. He said, "Well the grocery stores have all their Christmas stuff up so why can't we?" From a six year old's perspective you can understand why they would want it to get here early...I just can't do it yet...

It aint just the stores, folks. Thanksgiving is still 12 days away and TBS is airing How The Grinch Stole Christmas tonite.
