Re: coffee coffee coffee
I like a little Amaretto in my coffee or a bit of Bailey's. Those are perfect nightcaps but I have to do decaf or I'd be bouncing off the bedposts...

I've always like my coffee from a dark roast on the strong side and black. Tea is fine with a little sugar but when it comes to coffee I like to say if God intended it to have cream in it it would come out of a cow

Re: coffee coffee coffee
I like my coffee Swede style, strong and black with sugar.
On a cold night after a good dinner, hot coffe with a shot of rum, sugar and cream (real stuff, half-and half is OK, whipping cream is best)

got to get the coffee going first thing in the morning. No coffee become a grouch! first pot goes pretty fast.
At night, like to add a little brandy or whiskey to flavor the coffee. No milk.

I just love coffee any time of day for me. Adding amaretto to it at night is a special treat. Surprised others like doing it too. Let's make a pot and everyone come over to my house for a toast

I have tried coffee - and when the night is long and the ER busy I will settle for it, but I love tea! Tea just settles sweet in your stomach as the hot steam rises into your sinuses.

I feel the same way when it comes to tea. It doesn't leave an after taste like coffee and it soothes my sore throat and the steam helps me if my sinuses are plugged up.

Try peppermint tea with honey in it, that sooths a sore throat and helps with the coughing and breathing.

Lately I've been drinking, "Lipton" tea. My dad's coffee choice is, "Starbucks". I don't like it, it's kind of acidic tasting to me. Leaves weird aftertones on my palet{Cringe}.

If you really want a authenticated machine for espresso coffee, try a'Gaggia' espresso machine, very expensive, but worth it, if you're a connoisseur of espresso coffee. Make sure you get a rich, dark roasted bean. You won't be sorry, trust me!

I know what you mean Tica and I have looked at those. That's why I can only afford the top of the line Breville home machine. Buying the perfect blend isn't cheap either. I'm considering roasting my own one day. Meanwhile I'm enjoying the Illy whole bean dark roast. mmmm...
