chatting and chatting in Private
chatting and chatting in Private, what is the general opinion? i have been checking out a few sites and on some it is consider rude to not ask on the main chat channel first to chat in Private? what do u think......

If i ever enter the chatroom here, it's to talk to everyone, I turn off the private messages as soon as I hit the room.

ya me too , kinda of a pain trying to work on something and windows keep popping up just to ask" are u female?"......then ya always got the ignore user button

I don't think anyone needs to worry about being somehow "rude" if they choose to shut off private IM's in the chatroom...it's just a practical option really.
