One of my pet peeves! There's only so much daylight regardless how the clocks are set. Set them one way or the other and leave it! Dont make me change my sleep pattern!

Missing an hour doesn't make much of a difference around these freezing wastelands, it's more of it getting darker quicker in the afternoons, and waking up to darkness!

I wish they would just leave them alone. I think it would real suck to live next to two time zones, which one would you go by, live in one and work in the other.

That's what I have always been told too, ashcats...Moonhowler made a great post about it last year and we delved into the whole history of it.
I think it was proposed by by Benjamin Frankin, but wasn't implimented till much, much later on. The orginal idea was to save the nation tons of money. Ah hell, I'll try looking that post up again and bumping it, I think it's in the "Advice forum"

Most of the clocks reset themselves automatically. I never change the one in the car.----
