Re: SNOW!!!
Personally, I'd rather see it in a Movie or on a T.V. program, and as for the cold, that most likely around here goes hand in hand with the snow..... hate that too!! Snow and Cold don't mix well with me at all! Whoever likes it, can have it all!!

I'd like to know something.... Through the winter months where all of you live that get snow, what is the severity of storms (snow storms, ice storms, hail storms, Noresters, and an average accumulation for the winter months?

It varies. On the west and north sides of the trailer, it's much more shallow than the south and east sides.

Re: SNOW!!!
I like winter----
With the exception of having to shovel it sometimes, I like it. Less traffic, people drive more sanely, stores are usually better stocked, don't have to mow lawn----------
Oh, and the fresh snow makes everything look all nice and clean and pretty. Especially at night with a bright moon.

agreed. we thought about moving south but I would be lost with out winter. I might complain at about month 6 of it but deep down i love it. especially a nice crisp clear morning where its cold enough for the new snow to squeek with each step as the little crystals of the remaining moisture in the air sparkle in the morning sun. plus i like 4wheeling in the snow, it cleans off so much easier than mud.

I hear ya KITF, I know how hard and tough it is for the type of work that is required that you do, not an easy task in the middle of bad ice storms/snow storms, never let alone the endless over time hours, hardly any days off through these storms.

You betcha, TX weather is similar to New England weather (we call it the five minute weather in New England, changing every five minutes, lol) I've traveled through TX from the East to the West, and can vouch for what ya mean, along with HAIL storms!
