Re: car repair
I'd be tempted to check the connections at the battery and especially the earth to the car body. Try shorting the +ve terminal to the car body (away from the fuel line!!) to check the earth connection.
I don't know anything about that model but in a '95 car I can't believe that there is a single fuse that would be able to cut off power to everything.

Re: car repair
Those have fuse boxes both under the hood and inside. Check both places carefully to make sure you've found them all.
Also try doing what waderingstar said and you can check that with a test light. Just go from positive to negative terminal.

Re: car repair
You may need to get out the electrical meter to check to make sure the there are no breaks in the wires.

Re: car repair
cool i been told too that it could be the cables ,,,, the pos. corrode in the casing and if its like my Buick there are 2 or 3 fuse links on the starter...it took me a month to figure out it was the rotary switch in the stearing column , it wasn't giving power for the emc or the fuse box

Re: car repair
He could just replace everything under the hood ornament.
