It's a shame
That more member don't post in the forums, it would be nice to get to know them and hear what they have to say.
This isn't just a call for new members, but for ones who have been here for a while that haven't posted here before.
Come and say something, use this thread to tell us a bit about you, so we can get to know you. There are so many members on the site and it is a shame we don't all get a chance to meet each other, so now's our chance. Just come and say HI!!

We don't allow flaming, so that's not a worry at all.

There seems to be something stopping all the other members jumping in and joining us. 
It is a shame, as the more different members we get joining in the forums the more fun it will be. 
Maybe someone will drop by and let us know, what is so scary about joining us all.

I agree bubbles, it is a shame different members don't post in the forums and i think that's what stops new and other members posting, it seems that when members try to post and make things more intersting for others, the same members try and take over the forums again and i think thats what puts members off joining in.
Just my opinion from someone who stands back and looks in.

I have to agree with bubblegum and pretty, i have noticed the same member(s) seem to take over, It puts me off wanting to join in as i think what is the point.

Don't you dare cjroxy! You've been a huge help, along with HBG for adding some variety to the forums, you and hbg have really stepped up to help keep the forums moving and adding some personality and fun.
I haven't been able to spend much time here lately, ya'all know why and I have appreciated both of you keeping the moral boosted up here....we need you!

just about EVERYONE here has posted something that somebody else has taken offense too, i think. the trouble is, some take it as a personal attack, and don't realize that these posts are just opinions. nothing personal. might be the reason not many noobs are posting, they are afraid too, scared that they'll say something offensive and get in to trouble.
just remember, this statement is JUST MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION....
and since it looks like i'm in the clear for a good goosing session? if you don't like it, then BEND OVER and prepare to get.....

Okay...let's just back it up a bit, I'm quoting these two posts because I do believe in these is where the statements come as to why some don't post, or try then give up.
It has nothing to do with people offending other people with their opinions or people are afraid they will get into trouble for their opinions....I don't see that here in what's been said at all.
I think what I see here is they are saying when some try to become a part of the community forums, when they do try to post, they feel as if a few regulars aren't too happy about sharing the forums.
I know when things get a little slow here, I post way too much, and I'll often beg for others to post too. When others start posting, and things pick up, I'll back off from it and let them have their fun....sure...cuz I want to encourage them and others.
I post allot but I don't have to have the last word, or reply to every post and reply here....for example, if Moon or KB or someone we haven't seen in awhile leaves a post, I like to leave their name visible so others can see that they have popped in, I don't post a reply right away, cuz ya'all are use to seeing my name everywhere.
I disagree that people right now are not posting for fear of offending or getting into trouble, from what's in my inbox, it's just because they feel a few seem too unwilling to share the forums. They try to post, and get "out posted" and they feel like they are stepping in someone else's "territory"
All those who wrote me since this thread started asked me "Is it me??.....no, absolutely not, it's not you, and I want you to start posting, or keep posting....we need the variety here, and I've always tried to keep the "clique factor" out of the forums.

Awww c'mon now....everyone post...there's plenty of room.
It would be nice to see everyone who comes on the playground to play with everyone else, and not just a few friends....sure...but there's no rules about that.
I post allot when things get a bit slow, but when others jump in to play, I back off and let'em run!!!
