Positive thinking
Do you think it helps in your everyday life??
I have always thought that thinking positively helps make me feel good and the people around me. it makes me feel happy and if I'm happy then the people i come into contact with generally become happy. Using positive thoughts can have a major impact on what happens in your life

Re: Positive thinking
I keep a postive attitude as much as possible....my impact and influence on this world is my business...whther I like or love someone is my business, whether or not others like or hate me...that's their business.

Re: Positive thinking
Yes, of course it does.
I describe myself as an optomistic pessimist. That means I am positive that something is going to wrong. when it doesn't, it's a nice surprize.

Re: Positive thinking
Using Positivity does work....it makes life a hell of alot easier and happier.
Those with negativity receive negativity.
It does work and it is real...so look for the positive in everything and ditch the negative..

Re: Positive thinking
I feel that you must always have a positive attitude about everything. It's too easy for things to go negative and then you have to fight your way out of a hole

Re: Positive thinking
It amazes me when people are dying they can still remain so positive. I met someone a few years ago, who lost their fight to breast cancer, and she remained so positive throughout her illness, no matter what pain she was in. She just said, she always looked to the positive in things. If she could do that, with what she was going through, it made me look at my own problems and troubles, and stay positive in what's going on in my life

Re: Positive thinking
Well, you know I stand with HBG here, I...(we) often see others who overcome insurmountable odds, and we see some that sadly lose the good fight....we have people suddenly ripped away from us, but yet....we still stand, and continue on...and in the light of the things and people I've mentioned...hey, all those "little things" just don't mean shit...sorry, but they don't to me.
Crabby moods, a day or two of depression, edgy temper, or pity parties....shoot....what else ya got? Cuz that stuff doesn't even move the needle on the Important Meter anymore for me.
I am in glorious amazement with people who in spite of their own horrible loses and problem riddled lives...stand up and make a real difference in this world, manage to have a major positive influence, leave a lasting impression...

Re: Positive thinking
Anytime I let anyone or any little thing start getting me down, I just think of Liz and Kelly, and others who have survived real tragedy...
I so admire your devotion and strength, Kelly.

Re: Positive thinking
It's also when you see children and teenagers who go through so much suffering in such a short time, and still smile and stay strong for their parents, and it makes you think, i should make the most of my life and look to all the positives in my life
