I have always told my parents that they are welcome to live with me when they are too old to take care of themselves and they will still have their own part of the house with their Independence. My parents mean the world to me.
Someone who becomes someones carer, and gives up a big part of their life, is a very special person, and they don't get the recognition they deserve and the help and support they need from outside agencies.
