I'LL tell you later! Is that synonymous for "I don't know" ?
Some many profiles, use "I'LL tell you later",,,,,well,,"now" is the best time, not later! unless you don't know the answer your self. So many people will tell you alot,, except their zodiak sign? if they smoke, or drink. was just wondering what the big deal is??

They're hedging thier bets in case somebody actualy responds to thier profile.
If their too squeemish to put a little information on a profile I doubt they would be very interesting to talk to either.

I see it as a protective thing. Does everybody need to know if you have kids and if they live with you. Weight is usually a touchy subject with alot of women. People just aren't trustworthy now and different people assign different values to personal information. Maybe they don't want people they know to guess that its them.
Either way I don't think you should judge a book by they're cover. I didn't have all my info filled out or a picture at first. Just had to get comfortable. I'm not boring at all.

But you were uncomfortable before you had the information up there. Which is my point.
If they aren't comfortable about revealing comon factoids how are you going to get around to talking on a personal level, like about certain body parts

well now that were on the subject,,,,another mistake people make is to say an incomplete statement, example: "I like to have fun" or "I like to do fun things". Fun means something different to everyone, for example, Chazzy likes Kahlua, porno, dancing, pets, good food, and sometimes getting a beat red ass. KB likes, writing, poetry, reading, being bi-sexual, sassy ,and making people laugh. I like spending money, flirting with women, eploiting their bodies when possible, going to restaurants, working out, dancing. The chinnese like pain and certain type of torture for fun. point is everyone is different and we should be more specific than just saying I like to have fun!

Does that mean my profile should say kiss me, lick me, then fuck me with a strap-on. Oh and by the way here's my husband suck his dick while your busy with me.
Cause fuck me could mean a variety of things. People can be fucked, fucked over, fucked up and I didn't really specify so.......

I think the general consensus of ' FUCK ME " is pretty much understood CG, but in any event using adj., adverbs, and other discriptive words that you usually use, paints even a more erotic picture across the internet. By the way you have a very delicious, inviting, and curvacious DAMN FINE ASS!!!!

Actualy, your profile doesn't have to say anything. You don't need to try at all. If you didn't bother to answer twice as many private messages as I send out you would probably have more than you could handle. All you need on it is that you are a "woman" really.
My response rate would be better through the <1% of direct mail solicitation and I lay out more in my profile than most of my friends know about me.
The frustration of reading one pretty much empty profile after another and never getting responses is not something I think you can fully appreciate.

Re: I'LL tell you later! Is that synonymous for
I fully appreciate the frustration. After all I'm looking for what your looking for too. I have also had someone answer me back, get my picture and never mail me again.(Talk about rejection..sheesh) Thats why I always answer back. Unless of course I've already answered your request and you keep mailing me the same thing over and over again, which sometimes happens.
I don't get that much mail. A few friends send me mail, an occasional offer but mostly only 1 every other day or so.
For me I guess I just put in my profile what I think I need to. I put a pic up so people see ahead of time what I look like. I talk to people here. Try to have a good time and when its meant to happen it will.
As for "other body parts". What body parts are you talking about exactly? I'm..well....curious.

QUOTE (curiousgirl @ February 14, 2005, 09:24)Oh..certain body parts..sorry.
I was just thinking "what other body parts?"
I mean if they can't talk about something as benign as needs, wants and desires, they would likely not be able to actualy write erotic email .
KB told me she gets an avg of 8 a day. It would be interesting to get a "counter" for members. You could see how active a person was in sending or recieving emails as a criterion for trying to be one of those many emails.
BTW, it is very sweet of you to respond to emails. I guess what I really mean is "woman seeking male" would get too many to resond to. Then again, KB lists her preference as "lesbian" and still gets emails from men! The numbers are stacked overwhelmingly against men. There are ten times the number of new members that are males than that of females everyday. I just come here now for the messageboard really. I figure that's pretty much the only way my profile will get a look. Like you said, just let it happen if it's going to happen.
