Well it is a mental or soulish thing to want what you can't have. The mentality behind it is actually a self validating thing.

If someone that is supposed to be committed to another person, but is willing to fuck you as well then you must be at least a little higher on the "quality mate" or "quality human" scale.

The truth of it is though that it is not usually that you are so desirable that they are willing to fuck you even though they are committed to another.
It is usually either:
1. that they have a self destructive issue that causes them to put things they hold dear in jeopardy or at risk.
or
2. (and this is the more common and most likely) they have a deep desire for the forbidden things. Sometimes in sexual activities it adds an extra turn on factor when you are doing something you are not supposed to do or something that is forbidden or taboo.

Anyway I have to somewhat disagree.

If she was unsatidfied with her husband then she would have most likely known that she would be before they got married. It is a very rare thing now days to not have sex several times before marrying someone.
So that goes back to that they have a self destructive issue. Marry someone you know will not satisfy you.

On the other hand you may be perfectly right.
She may have changed or he may have changed and now she is left unsatisfied.
This too is understandable.

I personally hope for the "2.....they have a deep desire for the forbidden things....turn on factor when you are doing something you are not supposed to do or something that is forbidden or taboo." factor.
