Retirement
I'm looking forward to retirement. That way I can stay home, fertilize and water the lawn and then complain when I have to mow it.

Re: Retirement
I figure that I'll be driving until I die. Even though I'm tired of it, what else would i do? Be a greeter at Wal-Mart? Yah, right, that'd last about a half hour.

Re: Retirement
I was fortunate to be able to call it a day when I was 53. My family history told me that all the men on my mom's and dad's side had no longevity and I was destined to walk in their shoes. They all passed before they were 65. Man that isn't much time to look forward to.
I work a part time job and am able to have some money to live on and still enjoy my remaining years instead of working a full time job up until the day I drop dead. Well, f*ck that sh*t! Not this cowboy!!!!!!

Could you imagine the funeral, the young lady in question, would have to be removed just before we buried you, so we could keep you happy, up until the last minute!!!

Re: Retirement
Me either. I will hit the mandatory retirement age in 6 years, but will have to get a waiver to continue for another 7. After that I'm done, as my retirement payment is drastically reduced.

Re: Retirement
I prefer to stay active anyway. Work is the best way I know at this time. I enjoy it even though it is tiring like most occupations.
I'm also aware of how many people I've seen retire then in a few years time, [5 or less] the person is dead because they've worked thier entire life.
