Red Room/Lobby Chat Rooms
If or when you use the chat rooms, where do you feel more comfortable? Personally, I feel more comfortable popping into the Lobby every once in awhile rather than the Red Room, and if you see me in the Red Room it's just a fluky moment trying to catch someone to ask them something other than that, it's just the Lobby.

When I joined Web Naughty over two years ago the 'Lobby' was the only chat room. If I'm not mistaken, in early Fall of 06', is when 'The Red Room' was established.

Re: Red Room/Lobby Chat Rooms
I have to admit I feel more comfortable in the Lobby. It seems like the RED room has an "expectation"

I have only gone in chat on very rare occasions. I generally don't go in there

The lobby, with private message option blocked.
I like to chat to everyone.

Re: Red Room/Lobby Chat Rooms
Whoever created the Red Room "Chat Room" should be prosecuted under the Trade Description Act - there is no chat.
On the few occasions I've gone in there (cos there's no one in The Lobby) and tried to chat you get no response except for people you've previously met in The Lobby.
Also I think the constant PMs really put people off from coming into the Chat Rooms - why is everyone so interested in what I'm wearing? I feel like David Beckham (but that's another story and Posh doesn't like the competition...).
So, get rid of PMs in The Lobby and it might encourage people to actually chat.

Yes, the "Lobby" is clearly titled for "Casual Chat only, NO cybersex allowed" and the Red Room was later added to encourage cybersex .
Anyone attempting to use the Lobby to pressure or harrass anyone into private or public cybersex is violating a site rule and can be reported.
(Just write me a quick note, and I'll write the offender a polite note explaining the chatroom rules, usually they listen, comply and no further harm is done and no hard feelings follow)
If you go into the Red Room, you should expect some very direct requests for cybersexing.
As I mentioned, the "Red Room" was added on in order to help keep down conflicts between people looking for two totally different things,as a way of ridding the members of confusion as to what to expect when entering one or the other chatrooms.
Adding the "Red Room" has been great and has rid us all of allot of headaches that came with having just one chatroom.

Re: Red Room/Lobby Chat Rooms
When I visit the Lobby, if anyone proceeds with the constant PMing asking me about cybering, I will blatantly address him right in the Lobby in front of everyone stating, if you want to chat with me... I'm right here, or I state my PM window is "Out of Order" without trying to embarrass him within the Lobby, giving him some respect, even if he has disrespected me.

Re: Red Room/Lobby Chat Rooms
The first thing I do on the rare times I ever enter the lobby, is go to settings and turn off private messages.
I do that so I don't have to spend what little time I have to chat saying no and closing personal dialog boxes.
Ladies, it's perfectly acceptable to do that, go straight in to settings and turn off those private chat requests/PMs, that's why the option is there.
When I go into the lobby, it's to chat with everyone else that is in there, if I want a private conversation with just one or few people, I'll do that by private messaging system in the mailbox, when I go into chat, it's to chat with everyone in there.
