Tubaligation's and Vasectomy's
How do you feel about these, would you have one done, have you had one done? If you have had this procedure, what was your experience? I've had this procedure, all went well during and post operative with just a few tiny stitches.

Re: Tubaligation's and Vasectomy's
I know tow things for sure about vasectomys.
First, it worked. [at least in my case]
Secondly, if ya get it done, make sure you don't delay in getting and taking the pain meds after.

Re: Tubaligation's and Vasectomy's
had a vasectomy in 1975 and was warned not to do ANYTHING for at least 3 days. after that my boss let me sit and run the cash register only for a week. had no problems at all.i really recommend it for folks that want to stop having children, since it is much easier that the tubal ligation.............PS its usually a lot cheaper procedure too.......

And if you do change your mind, high rate of being able to have these reversed or "undone"

That'd depend on how it was done. In cases where the tubes are cut and a section removed, forget a redo.

Re: Tubaligation's and Vasectomy's
I had my testy tubs tied since 1985. I had no post op problems. My kids kept wanting to show everyone my stitches. They found a cyst on one of my testies, so that was also removed at the same time.

Re: Tubaligation's and Vasectomy's
Back in the early 80's a friend of mine had four young children then decided to have a tubaligation, well... the way the Dr. performed the procedure, she ended up getting pregnant, amounting to having five children.
