A VERY VERY, VERY, HAPPY THREAD
With the credit crunch and all the price rises, high crime rates and general bad news we all keep hearing, i thought we could have a HAPPY THREAD, just somehwere, where we could tell each other some good news or just something funny we've heard or seen.
Just to cheer ourselves up and to put a smile on our faces.
Ok, i'll start, my brother is getting married again after having a few unhappy years, i've never seen him so happy, and his new girlfriend adores my niece and has a daughter the same age, which is great. I'm very happy for him

Good to hear that bubbles.
I won my last case, a bit drawn out, had to stay in a 5 star hotel for a few weeks!! I know, terrible!! But we managed to put 3 dangerous men behind bars for a long time.
Makes all the hard work, so worth while.
I also have brought a new puppy from the RSPCA, it was a spur of the moment thing, after speaking to HBG about her rescue dogs, yes, it's your fault!! I pick her up Saturday, shes a Jackrussell, 6 months old. My Sister will have her during the day when I'm at work, she also has a little dog, and an acre garden. I'm so excited, i've wanted a dog for so long 
Good idea for a thread bubbles, it's good to hear good news for a change.

I have to agree, good idea for a thread. Folks tend to always want to bitch about bad things but neglect to bring up good things that are happening around them. Personally, I dont have anything really good to talk about except that today is absolutely gorgeous, sunshine, blue skies, 80 degrees and low humidity. I think I'll play hookie and go to the beach!

Fantastic thread hotbubblegum. Right at the moment I am happy that once again the Olympics is showing humanity at its absolute best! Sorry that I am a bit Olympic obsessed right at the moment - it is a disease that strikes me every 4 years and there is no cure!

My god, coincidence or what, my brother got married on 20th Aug for the second time....it was lovely and my girls were the flower girls, ahhhhh!!, but a wonderful time was had by all.

I am so happy that my son started Kindergarten and he is settling in so well. He has gotten good marks in class for behavior and finally is starting to care about learning his letters. It was so hard doing it all on my own, but we did it! yeah for us. Now it is time to enjoy this long weekend together and have fun.

It is a beautiful day here in Texas...the weather is amazing and I'm home today working around the house (with no one here with me) so I should be able to get things done and play with my kids tomorrow...I am HAPPY!!!
