Paul Newman
Recently, it was announced that he is in very bad shape and is expected to die soon from Lung Cancer. When told of his impending doom, he chose to die at home instead of in a hospital. He resides with his wife, Joanne Woodward in Greenwich Ct.
Mr. Newman has an awful lot of great movies to his credit, such as COOL HAND LUKE, SLAP SHOT  , THE VERDICT , THE COLOR OF MONEY , BUTCH CASSIDY and the SUNDANCE KID, ect.
What are your favorite Paul Newman movies?

mine is Butch Cassidy sun dance Kid .He is a good actor.Also Patrick swayze is battling Cancer as well

While growing up I lived in the same town as Robert; what a wonderful man, and great actor! He has donated millions of dollars with his "Hole in the Wall Gang" non-profit organization he created for children, raising monies with his very own line of Newman's Own salad dressings, etc.

Excuse me VB my apologies, I meant to say Paul. I always think of Paul and Robert Redford like 'Frik and Frak'. Paul will be truly missed.

He was a true gentleman . He had causes he supported, he was a loving father, husband, etc. The actor was just part of who this man was. He was talented and amazing.
Paul Newman was old Hollywood in its best moments. Being debonair and glamorous looked good on him.
Rest in Peace, Paul, you will be missed.
I think I am going to rent some Newman movies tonight!

I am so sorry to hear he died, but pleased that he got to chose to die at home, at peace with his loved ones there. Dignity is often lost at the end and I always think that is so unfair.
My favorite movie will always be "The Sting"
