Frugalling
Currently the way the financial economy is, what are some the ways or tips you frugal?
Do you purchase 'Store Brand' names vs 'Brand Names'?
Do you watch for sales, and still ask yourself is it a need or a want?
Do you browse the Store Ads prior to going shopping and have a list prepared?
Do you use coupons?
Do you use comparison shopping, prior to making a purchase?
Do you watch the electricity, and turn off lights in the house when no one is using a particular room?
Do you can, jar, or freeze what you've harvested?
Do you use mass transit or car pool to save on gas if you can?
Do you use the washer or dryer at night rather than during the day when it's cheaper to use?
Do you try to attempt to go into town, and get all your errands done in one trip to save on gas and time?

Re: Frugalling
Let me see.
Always name brands, unless I find another that has better taste.
Sales? What sales. Whenever I need something it's not on sale.
Don't use coupons nor brouse the ads. [most stores have the current sale sheet by the front door anyway.
Don't comparision shop usually. Depends on when I need the item.
Always have left lights off wen I don't need them.
What mass transit?

Re: Frugalling
I already listed everything I'm doing in "the ripple effect"...
The main thing is the food budget.
I can only cut the food budget so far, the hubs diet has to be no fat, low fat, low cholesterol problems if I wanna keep him alive for at least another ten years, yep he's that bad....so whatever it costs, I have to buy the right food for him.
