Sir Paul and Route 66
Paul McCartney is taking an American Holiday by traveling our Route 66 in a classic car, actually, it's an 1986 Bronco, not exactly the usual Route 66 classic, but a fantastic way to see the States.
I like him, he's in the St. Louis are now, hope he has a wonderful Holiday and enjoys all those historic roadside attractions along the way.
Since he's already in the city, that means just hours ago, he passed through my old home town, and I know the 66 sites he saw in that area! I'm sure he's still scratching his head and wondering about some of those.
Get your kicks, Paul...get your kicks on Route 66

Get your kicks, Paul...get your kicks on Route 66 a BRONCO?? (even though it could still be considered a classic...an vehicle over 20 years old is considered a classic)

Re: Sir Paul and Route 66
I adore Paul... possibly could be keeping a low profile not wanting to create a scene or be bothered by the media and all the hoopla, so he's using an older vehicle, along with roughing it and not worrying about anything, just enjoying his vacation on Route 66, which is an awesome Route to take!

I hope Sir Paul stopped at Grant's Farm and bought a Budweiser for the camel. General Grant would've.

Re: Sir Paul and Route 66
I saw a photo online of him with several locals in Springfield, (Illinois I think...) it was just too cute, his new girlfriend Nancy took the photo, Paul blended right in with the small crowd!
LanH, the classic cars I'm use to seeing traveling 66 are the cars of the era of that route, the prime era....the 50's....it's always a sight to see so many members of the car clubs in a caravan on the old highway

Re: Sir Paul and Route 66
He's a decent and honorable man and I'm sure he enjoyed being there as much as the people there enjoyed having him.

Re: Sir Paul and Route 66
I haven't seen a photo or clip of his new girlfriend, I'm sure she's just as cute as a bug ears, and is a better person than Heather..Paul was such a devoted husband to Linda, he deserves another good shot at true love again.

Re: Sir Paul and Route 66
I wonder if he'll follow the real route all the way to CA or use the I roads that replaced much of Route 66.
