Sounds more like a movie script...
Just reading where they think they have figured out the whole 2001 anthrax letters thing...a man about to be charged for the crime and the deaths connected to it, committed suicide...he was an Army Scientist/anthrax researcher and they believe he sent the laced letter out in order to test his cure or antidote for it...
Whoa...real life is creepy weird...

I've been watching about this. They just said in an interview that this person only worked with the liquid form and had no access to th powder.
Now, I realize he could have made the liquid into powder, but mostly think that they're using him as a scapegoat.

I dunno about the powder/liquid thing, I've read about him using "spores" and had done so outside the research containment area, and that he constantly bitched about not having enough research animals to test on and bitching about the animal results don't give him the data he needs in order for him to develop the cure/antidote for humans...which in itself shouldn't be enough for an indictment, but hell...ya know...between the info that is released, and the info that isn't...that's usually where you'll find the truth.
Just gonna wait for more info to be released I guess...

I remember when the Anthrax scare was at it's peak... everyone at work used disposable latex gloves when opening an envelope. In fact I had a few occurrences where there was white powder within the envelope...in turn was placed in a sealed plastic bag, and sent off to the lab. The category of 'Deranged'... I'll settle for that.

One thing I thought was strange during the anthrax scare.
I was in the Post Office in Sioux Falls to mail a package to WI. There was two postal employees in the lobby dusting off packages that had apparently collected dust.
So, after sending the package off, I asked the person at the counter if what the others were doing is wise. I had to explain it to him, but am willing to bet they kept dusting off those packages in the lobby.

Just reading some updates on CNN...it seems that his first plan of action after learning he was going to be charged, was to kill his co-workers, he had bought a bullet proof vest, obtained a gun, and had a detailed plan to carry out.
This is from testimony from his therapist.

How much ya wanna bet that when they interview his neighbors they say " he was pretty quiet and kept to himself. never had any problems with him."

Gawd, it just makes you wonder, really...if one sociopathic scientist could slip under the radar and be in control of a substance like anthrax...WTF else is going on?
Of all the scientist who have access to bio/chemical lethal substances, how many are stable and sane?

Whoa, just checked in on CNN for the first time today...There is DNA evidence...That usually will clinch it..The Mad Scientist did it...

some of us don't need the government to tell us stuff to be paranoid.
Daschle was on tv whinning about the botched job the FBI did in the investigation. I'll not state my opinion on him here for my own safety.
