Putting a face to a name/voice
Have you ever built up a mental image of someone you have communicated with quite often, then when you see them in person they are absolutley nothing like you imagined?

I wasn't referring to the internet, or any kind of gadget. There is a real world as well, you know!!

Re: Putting a face to a name/voice
Musicians and radio personalities come to mind. They never seem to look like what their voices tell ya they do.

Re: Putting a face to a name/voice
When my brother in law opened his business, he hired a secretary to answer his phones. She had a very sweet voice and a cute sexy giggle. It was about a year before I actually met her and like Lib said, I had a picture in my mind as to what she looked like. I was dead wrong. This girl, as nice as she was, was at least 300 pounds with a mustache and coke bottle glasses. I later came to find out that my sister hired her.
