Scarey.
What kind of scarey do you like when it comes to movies, books...do you like horror with graphic violent details or like me, I prefer the suspence thrillers.
I really don't need to be totally grossed out with a movie to find it horrifying and scarey, I like the Alfred Hitchcock style I guess...more suspence and plot twists...less disembowelment and decapitation.

Re: Scarey.
The hubs loves the gore, he gets this series of DVDs from blockbuster called "Masters of Horrors"...I've never watched a one of them, although he says they not really that bad.
He loves the gore, to me most of them are just the same ole.."Freak of nature goes on bloody gorey killing rampage"

Re: Scarey.
When I was oh so young, I saw House on Haunted Hill (Vincent Price) and thought it was very freakin' scary. Since that time, I've been squeamish when it comes to horror movies. I lean toward action adventures such as Raiders of the Lost Ark and documentaries like Planet Earth. Those are what I enjoy.......especially when I play them on my Blu-Ray dvd player and view them on my 60inch Plasma........instant erection!!!!

Re: Scarey.
I like both. Some of it's the challenge of not being scared or surprized when the gore starts.
One of my Favorite movies is "The Pit and the Pendulum" with Vincent Price.
