my son,the youngest of my four children,left Omaha,Nebr. on Thursday morning on his way back to Mesa,Arizona.i really hated the idea of his leaving Nebraska and being so far from family,but i supported his decision to go. he had lived here for 3 years and was just overwhelmed by the winters,his sisters petty squabbles and just plain homesick for the southwest.he had moved down there in 2002, and was very much at home there until he decided to finish his college education back here in Nebraska. he called me last evening(Fri.) at about 530 pm to let me know he had arrived and all was well. yeah,i know he is 33 years old,but a father is always concerned about a child's welfare and safety. anyway,hope everyone will join me in feeling great about his safe trip and arrival !
