the Hobbit movie
according to a fansite for J.R.R Tolkien's work, production has started on the prequel to "the Lord of the Rings" trilogy..set for release sometime in 2011...rumor has it that Ian McKellen has agreed to reprise his role as Gandalf...and Andy Serkis is looking to reprise his role as Smigel/Gollum...
supposedly the film will be split into two movies...and Viggo Mortensen and Liv Tyler will reportedly be reprising their roles as Aaragorn and Arwen in the second installment...to link the prequel the original trilogy...
i can't wait to see this movie!!! i LOVED the original TRILOGY...(just wish i'da seen them on the big screen...  )

the scenery is awesome...but it gets a little long...each movie is about 3-3 1/2 hours long...i've attempted to watch all three back-to-back-to-back...but i always end up taking a break somewhere in the middle....
