what do ya think of these ghost hunter guys on the scifi chan on tv, are they just a bunch of goofs or what?

I just love 'em!!! I love the show, it's cool when they happen to catch some video or audio that makes you really wonder...and the show is equally entertaining when they debunk a place..I mean the episodes where people swear they have a ghost, but it's just a loose pipe in the basement and a bulb wasn't screwed in tight enough in a light fixture.
My favorite debunked episode, parents reporting that a ghost was keeping their little boy awake all night...turns out the parents were letting him play video games right up until lights out bedtime...the camera in his room proved he was just too wound up and wired from the games and the little bugger was tossing and turning all over his bed all night long.

ya some of thast stuff give ya the chills and the willies.i seen one with a kid who was getting scratched at night, that wasnt the same one was it?turned out his brother or sister was doing it in there sleep got it on cam and it wasnt a ghost...lol

ya i know i just lovit when my hair on my back stands on end. i even had one night here in my house , i was sacked out on the couch, it was late after stargate or something and i was close to nodding out and i heard someone come in the dront door to what was the old pastors study, then they went into the kitchin and back though and up the stairs , i called out to the wife is that u? and they stop. i got up and checked it out and the was no one, she was still sleeping and one cat was with her and the other two weree sacked out in the chairs....i said good night and went to bed... just love living in a house that 105 years old...lol

I grew up in an old house with two ghosts, the elderly lady was rarely seen, but the little boy...he was around alot!
Had one stinker when I lived way out in the country, don't know where "it" came from or what "it" was, but me and it would go round and round some nights...ya think you would be petrified at something like that..but I was surprised at myself. If I was really tired of "it" and needed a good night's sleep..I would walk in my bedroom and pretty much just cus it out...I'd tell it to freakin' leave me the freak alone tonight, I'm too tired to deal with it and come on back on the weekend but I'm tired, crabby and I gotta get up early...and "it" would do just that! "It" finally just left on it's own.

cool , this wasn't the first time either a few years before i sensed that there was a prescience, something was a banging shit around and making noise and was pissed about something,it seems to happen a couple of weeks before Easter and comes and goes.sometimes ya need to tell them to go away lol. the church built a new house and there is a grave yard down the street a few hundred yards i hope my visitors are not coming from there and the pastors say they wouldn't hurt ya......lol
one day we took a ride i had to give some blood so they can check my a1c test.
we stopped by a park in Chippewa falls there is a zoo and whats left of a old brewery we went down this road we never were on and found a cave in the sandstone Cliff, i guess they use to cool kegs of beer in it , i was taking pictures out side it and the went up to the opening and took one then went in side and took a few more it was dark and i used the flash and that didn't light up nothing in there, we went back and took some of the ruins. we got back home and i downloaded the cam to the computer and discover orbs on two of the photos ,
any ideas on it anyone....?

I dunno...orbs are funny things....there was a video going around a while back, it was suppose to be of an orb caught by a cops dash cam....turned out to be a lady bug! Looked pretty impressive though...some orbs do look a little too unusual to just be dust or bugs.
I keep an open mind....Maybe someday what we've come to know as spooky, mysterious and paranormal can be explained and proven.
I know I've seen them, interacted with a couple, so I know something exists, and maybe someday we'll have enough evidence and ghosts won't be so mysterious, but they still will be ghosts.
Google up Zombie Road sometime, it's not that far from me, about an hour away. That place is just bizarre! Hundreds of shadow people have been videod and photograhped there.
Zombie Road is featured in a documentary called "Children of the Grave"...some really freaky stuff!

When I say hundreds of shadow people have been photographed and taped, I mean hundreds all at once! The woods were just plum full of them in these images.

Hey, the cave and old ruins sounds like an interesting place!
I love seeing some old place where you can just walk around, read and feel the history. Hell I just love history stuff!

They were here a few months ago and checked out the state hospital for the insane(Charles Manson-not sure if that's how it's spelled)that's no longer opened and was sold.and I thought it was great that they got some stuff on tape,and I think they're coming back in Oct.I think alot of it's just show but who knows?I only watch it once in awhile.

That castle in Ireland on GHI this past Wednesday had quite a bit to offer. Although they only caught 2 pieces of evidence, they had plenty of personal experiences. I love Barry's new full spectrum digital camera.
I really do admire people that do this for a living. I have sympathy for them, as well. You have to think about it. After going to so many places where there are ghosts of children.... capturing evp's of their voices.... it has to take its toll on you in some way, shape or fashion. Especially the ones that died a tragic death.

I think it's just hilarious that one is afraid of dolls, one is afraid of heights and spiders, but they still crawl and poke around in these ruins of a building!
Brian running and screaming like a little girl when they investigated an old prison...they sure show that footage allot, he'll never live it down.

i see one HBO i think that the English came up with there own version some guys and gals running about places with night vision seems like all their doing is screaming in the dark all the time was kinda hard to follow screaming and did ya see that? i didn't see nothing hey how can ya catch anything when the gals are screaming all the time lol

There's a show called "Scariest Places on Earth" and they do the same thing, maybe it's the same show? Just regular folks with night vision running around screaming!
Another show on Travel Channel, Haunted something, don't remember the name where a bunch of psychics go places and hold seances and "sense" things...no skeptics on board so not even as good as ghosthunter.

I've worked in a couple of places where I have had ghost encounters. In the acrylic shop where I was the production manager, myself and another employee were working to finish a job one night. I had laid a tool on a table and when I started to walk away it mysteriously fell off. Went back and picked it up, turned away, and off it fell again. Third time is the charm, right. Not in this case. When it fell off the third time (and the other employee was not close in any of the incidences) I just threw up my hands and said "Well heck, if you want it on the floor I'll just leave it there!" There was another incident where I was there alone working and I kept hearing voices. I asked who was there and noone answered. Walked around checking (a little scared I might add) and did not see anything. When I went back to work I could hear some giggling and then what sounded like whispering. I just said aloud "Well, I guess I don't mind sharing the shop. If you don't bother me I won't bother you." Finished up what I was doing rather quickly though and got out of there.

wow, never had nothing like that happen but, we i was young about 5 or so i was at my grandparents place and they live above a ice cream place in chicago , the guys with the cooler in front of a bike and i we went up the back stairs to the attic door and i looked though the window and seen a shadow of a guy in a hat and trench coat pacing back and forth in front of the front window, i went down with the dog and told my uncle, we went up and went in looking for someone and there was no one there, i still remember it till this day.
another time we were living in a place and i was watering plants and a plant hanger with 3 pots in it came crashing down and just missed my head ,the hook was still in the ceiling so it had to come up and over and off.....our son was having bad dreams in the one room and we traded with him and we started having them, found out later that someone killed theirself in the room? so we move out.
chazzy i check out that site and sent them a email about the orbs, they got back to me and want to use them for a story. i sent the photos and there wasnt much to tell, i still dont know if it was dirt on the lens or something, im waiting to see what they say .....
