Pouting
Don't you just hate it when someone is obviously upset with you and will not talk it out but rather just sulls up and pouts? How can you work things out if you don't talk about them?

Re: Pouting
It's best at times to just let the emotion settle before discusstion. Let the situation cool then a more
rational discussion can happen.

Re: Pouting
Oh, I can deal with letting the emotions settle a bit because I sure don't want a shouting match. All the person has to do is just say that. That is not pouting to me. Pouting is like when you tell a child that you are not able to do something at that particular time and they just puff up and barely acknowledge your existance. I know adults that do that and it drives me nuts. I mean, life goes on. If you express an opionion and they have an opposing opinion then just let them say it and then move on to something else, not clam up like a clam shell.

Re: Pouting
On the other hand, if the two involved are adults, they should know----- Shouldn't have to say.

Re: Pouting
I'd leave well enough alone til the individual is ready and willing to discuss whatever issue it is. If you push it, things could turn out worse than expected.

Re: Pouting
Perhaps you are right. I just don't like being around them when they are acting that way. I mean, if I try to start a conversation about something else I get clipped answers like "Yeah", "That's nice", "If you say so", or just ignored all together. That is what I am talking about. I just don't think adults should act that way especially if you are supposed to be friends. I'll just try to chill a little.
