We all deal with trust differently but i found that you can either let the person continue ruining your life by letting what they did to you stand in the way of your happiness or you can pick yourself up, and move on.
There is plenty of time to get serious with another person, but don't waste anytime crying over someone who has hurt you, life is to short and is for living. You will know when the right person comes into your life, when you tell them how you feel, they will be happy to move at your pace and you will soon regain that trust.
Life is full of taking chances, you never know, unless you take that chance!!!

I doubt any of us can truly and completely shake off a part of our personal history.
We all continue to travel on with some baggage from our past.
There are some that I trust 100%, and some it's more like 80%....and some I don't really trust at all or at least not very much.
People can change and learn. I will give someone who has proven in the past to be untrustworthy the chance to earn my trust. I don't do this blindly, I know the risk and I am prepared for the worst or the best to come of it.
